| | Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome (both Jews and converts to Judaism Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!" (Acts 2: 8-11) As the nations come to us, we are ready to receive them. We are where we are so that we can minister to those in our own backyard.
Operation Hospitality 'When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the LORD your God.' " (Leviticus 23: 22) The Lord is bringing the nations to us. It is our calling to share the love of Christ with the people that are at our doorsteps.
Mission Vision After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. (Revelation 7: 9) God’s vision goes beyond our doors and sees the whole world as his mission field. What a day that we will be when we are gathered around God’s throne in heaven.
